A Globetrotter - A Camera - A Bruised Passport

Being on the road for the past thirty years, I can't imagine life without discovering new horizons or frontiers. When I'm not traveling, I spend most of my free time researching and planning next destinations. Usually the next trip is planned before the previous one ends. One of the greatest pleasures along the way is undoubtedly meeting new people from all walks of life, who in many cases become lifelong friends, no matter where in the world they come from. Apart from the almost 4500 photos that can be found on this website, literally thousands more I keep on various memory media.

For those interested: Currently the standard "travel" equipment consists of a Canon EOS 70D, not the most professional on the market, but I love this camera. A 100-400 mm Canon zoom lens, a Hero GoPro which I mainly use for underwater photography, a sturdy and waterproof Lumix series Panasonic camera, a DJI Osmo Pocket II, a lightweight Rollei tripod and a Canon Legria camcorder.
Since quite a while, I have been offering video services for a minimal fee. A Canon XF-400 professional broadcast video camera is used exclusively for this purpose. Think about company presentations, weddings or private events.
